Personality ; Takane can be quite intimidating in terms of appearance. She is a very serious character, however, despite her expressions, she can be very easy to talk to. Whilst, yes, she can be cold towards most, she warms up to those she trusts and be quite caring and protective. Takane also has a bit of an ego, her confidence in her fighting skills and the high standards she holds for herself can be her downfall. She is more of the quiet type but can be a bit sarcastic, throwing a sassy comment into the mix of a conversation when given the opportunity. Takane is also a very calm and collective person, by no means is she a bully and she will defend others if she feels the need to.
Appearance ; Takane has long, smooth-looking crimson hair which she keeps up in a single ponytail. She keeps a few bangs over her forehead and ears. Her eyes match the unique colour of her hair only just a bit lighter in shade, they are sharp in looks and sometimes emotionless. As far as attire, she wears the school uniform which is a simple short-sleeve collared shirt with buttons along the middle and a red tie attached. Her mini-skirt is the same colour as her tie whilst her thin leggings are black. Takane has a skinny, small frame, however, she appears intimidating and tough without even trying, this keeps people from messing with her for the most part and she is highly respected because of her skills.
ABILITIES/SKILLS
Teleportation ; Takane is able to teleport a few distances away in order to avoid an attack, however, this ability has its limits and can not be spammed.
Agility ; Takane is quick and agile, she is able to make herself appear multiple times, making clones, up to three, who all look, act, and move with the original.
Swordsmanship ; Takane is very skilled with her sword, training of years, she is able of dueling anyone. Her swiftness and calmness contributing to her swordsmanship.
Ice abilities ; Takane has a bit of ice power within, however, she hasn't quite unlocked it or embraced it. She tends to avoid using any sort of ice abilities as it proved to be quite dangerous and unpredictable.
BACKGROUND
Takane Yoshida, destined to hold a sword from a very young age, she began training with a mentor at the age of seven. Her parents were teachers as well but were too busy for one on one training to teach her themselves, and eventually they were sent off to aid in a war. Takane would stay with the mentor and train daily, the mentor being a friend of the parents. It wasn't easy but Takane over a few years would master the act of swordsmanship, but then she would realise she had much more power, a dark power she didn't quite like. During a school duel, an exam where students must face eachother to receive their final grade, she would accidentally kill her opponent. Upon defending herself from a potential defeating blow, her sword would light up a shiny blue and explode inbetween Takane and her opponent, sending them flying in opposite directions. Whilst Takane was able to slowly stand back up, she would lay her eyes on a frozen enemy. Everyone was confused, especially Takane, but then they would watch the ice crack and without hestitation, the ice would break into pieces, killing the frozen student. Responsible for the death of a student, Takane was quickly expelled and was prevented from proceeding to the next grade.
After hearing this news from the mentor, her parents would return home to comfort their daughter, knowing she would have to live with the fact she accidentally killed an innocent student for the rest of her life. From that moment, Takane transitioned from an out-going young girl to a more mature and quiet and/or calm teenager.
It took Takane's parents a year of fighting with the schools to allow their daughter to attend so she could eventually graduate. Naoetsu Private High School, one of the best schools in the nation and where the students are trained to eventually enroll into the military, didn't hesitate to allow Takane to attend, seeing potential in the young woman's skills. But because of her past, she was always watched and was also forced to take counciling in the school, and to have a dorm to herself instead of sharing with a roommate as the principal thought it was for the best. Takane was also warned if any incident would occur, she could potentially face another expulsion, so she was to be on her best behaviour and cautious.
